Active Travel Hubs in Northern Ireland

An Active Travel Hub embedded in the heart of a community can help get people walking, wheeling and cycling more. We have one Hub in Belfast and one in Derry~Londonderry. In this blog, you can find more details of these Hubs and how to find them.

Northern Ireland is increasingly facing many challenges of congestion, air pollution amid the climate crisis. Along with obesity and mental health problems.

We can help tackle these issues by providing practical local support so that more people can become active by walking and cycling.

Where can your find our Active Travel Hubs?

Belfast

C.S. Lewis Square, Newtownards Road, BT4 1HH

This well-established Hub in east Belfast has proved popular attracting people from all over the city.

It is located at the intersection of two urban greenways, the Connswater Community Greenway and the Comber Greenway.

Derry~Londonderry

Active Travel Centre, North West Transport Hub, BT47 6DL

This new facility is in partnership with Life Cycles, a Zero Waste North West initiative to save bikes from landfill,  and to get people cycling through lessons, led rides and cycle fix sessions.

Contact us for more information on this Hub.
