Cycles for key workers

Helping frontline staff find offers on bikes, repairs and equipment during the Covid-19 pandemic.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, we wanted to help our frontline heroes cycle to and from work safely.

So we created an interactive map to help key workers find bike offers and services in their area.

Find bike shops near you

We have a brand new map showing all of the independent bike shops open in your area.

It also shows any offers on bike services and equipment available to keyworkers during the pandemic.

What was Cycles for Key Workers?

Around 40% of the UK workforce are classed by the UK Government as key workers.

This includes NHS employees, cleaners, carers and supermarket workers.

When Covid-19 hit and the UK went into lockdown, we wanted to do our bit to support our frontline heroes.

Cycling is an easy and safe way for keyworkers to travel to and from work.

So with the help of our partners, we created an interactive map showing cycle offers and discounts available to all key workers across the UK.

And it also showed all the bike shops that stayed open during the pandemic.

What happens next?

Since the pandemic started, we've seen a huge increase in people cycling.

And we want to help you all keep your bikes riding smoothly.

So we've created a brand new map to help you find a bike shop that's open in your area for repairs, services and quick maintenance checks.

Take a look at the map.
