Route section suspended

The section of Hadrian's Cycleway, Route 72, south of Sellafield station has been suspended until further notice because of coastal erosion.

If you need to travel south of Sellafield, we recommend using the Northern Rail service between Seascale and Sellafield.

It also includes a spur of the Trans Pennine Trail West which goes toward Liverpool. The places where the West and Central sections and the East and Central sections overlap has been discounted from the total distance.
