"My little red sign" photo competition

Photographers of all ages are invited to take part in a competition that seeks to capture why the National Cycle Network is special to so many.

Find a route on the National Cycle Network

Waymarked by the little red sign, the National Cycle Network spans some 12,000 miles across the UK.

On largely traffic-free paths that are accessible for all, the Network:

  • Connects homes and communities.
  • Enables people to access nature, commute to work or travel to school.

From stunning scenery to al fresco artworks, historic relics to community gardens, first rides to far-flung adventures, it is the weird, wonderful and everyday moments on the National Cycle Network that many people treasure.
