This route links west to east across all three major National Routes in the area from the High Peak Trail, crossing the Tissington Trail and meeting National Route 549 at Hartington in the Peak District National Park.
Leaving the High Peak Trail at Minninglow on a bridleway, you travel over a hill with stunning views and head down to the busy A515, which you cross - taking care at this point.
The next section is on road, and shortly afterwards you will cross the Tissington Trail. Continuing west through Biggin village, ride now on an unmetalled road to Hartington Hall Youth Hostel, where the route joins National Route 549.
Hartington village is a little further on, north on Route 549.
