Route 535 is a small cycle route from National Cycle Route 5 in Birmingham City Centre to Gravelly Hill, which carries on for a short way along the Tame Valley Canal.

National Cycle Network Route 535 starts just outside Birmingham city centre and travels north on mainly canals and traffic free routes to Sutton Park on the northern edge of the city.

It runs alongside the Tame Valley Canal, under Spaghetti Junction and then on mainly traffic free paths running past Witton Lakes through a green corridor stretching all the way up to Sutton Park.

On arriving at the park, the route travels through it and you are able to join route 534 and access Sutton town centre and railway station.

In 1997, Sutton Park was designated a National Nature Reserve and it is also a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). It covers 970 hectares and you might be able to spot one of the Exmoor ponies that roam here.
