School Travel Survey
Use the School Travel Survey to gather valuable insights from parents, guardians, and the wider school community on active travel habits and any concerns around the routes to school.
How to use the survey
Print Version: If you prefer paper surveys, you can send a printed copy home with pupils. Choose the format that works best for your needs:

- Download the School Travel Survey (DOCX) if you’d like to customise it for your school.
Digital Version: Make data analysis easier by sharing the survey digitally through email or the school newsletter. Duplicate our Microsoft Form, personalise it with your school’s name, and start collecting responses right away.

Hands Up Survey
Engage your school in the national Travel to School Hands Up Survey, an annual initiative presented to all schools in Wales by Public Health Wales.
The survey is a fun way to raise awareness for active travel amongst children in years 1-6 and to encourage pupils to consider walking, wheeling or cycling to school. The survey doubles as an enjoyable classroom activity, requiring less than ten minutes to complete.
